I don’t. I like getting the extra special but could really care less about Doctor Who a view on Gallifrey shirt. I really don’t mind whether the actual day is Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. This is a show that never had any Christmas episodes in its entire classic run. (Oh, but what about “The Feast Of Steven”, you say?!? A throw-away line at the end of an episode, breaking the fourth wall no less. It’s been done well only a couple of times. Mostly, it is window dressing for some story that has nothing to do with Christmas. Whatever day they do it on, just do a good story. That makes up for missing out on more evil Santas or sleighs, or any of that nonsense. BTW – I like Christmas, I just don’t crave Doctor Who having to theme such stories.
